How to use this calculator
Choose Find my CET and enter the price, your down payment, the term and the monthly payment from your offer. The calculator works backward to the CET that lenders in Brazil must disclose, and shows the same loan as a nominal rate and an effective rate. Choose Find my payment to turn a quoted rate into a monthly payment. All figures are in BRL and you can switch country at the top of the page.
Frequently asked questions

What is IOF on a car loan?
IOF is a tax on credit: 0.38% of the amount plus 0.0082% a day, for up to 365 days, so about 3.38% at most. It is usually added to the loan.
Posso quitar o financiamento antes do prazo?
Sim.
