carapr.org is an independent site with free calculators for people who are buying or owning a car. There is nothing to sign up for, and you never need to share your personal details.

Why the APR calculator exists
Car loans are often quoted as a monthly payment, and the payment alone hides how much the loan costs. Working backward from the payment to the rate shows what you are really paying, so you can compare offers on equal terms.
How the calculators work
Each calculator uses standard formulas, and each page explains the math in plain language. Everything runs in your browser, and the figures you enter are not sent to us. Results are estimates. Your lender's loan documents, your bank statements, and your tax professional are the official sources for your own numbers.
